Sparkling clean glass kettle & glassware!
Our water has high levels of lime which ruins electric kettles so we bought a glass one so we could see when it needs cleaning & I also bought a new pack of Citric acid! So - when the scale becomes visible on the side of the glass fill it to just above the limescale line, boil and then add a heaped teaspoon of citric acid for each cup of water, then leave for about 15 minutes - & the scale should be gone! If the kettle hasn't been cleaned for a long time you may need to repeat several times - when clean, rinse the kettle well, fill to your normal level, boil and empty! Citric acid is ideal for putting the sparkle back on all your glass and ceramic - half fill your washing bowl with hand-hot water, add a half cup of citric acid and wash you clean but dull glassware etc, using a clean cloth, rinse in clean hot water and set aside to air-dry! I gave used citric acid for cleaning since I washed up and cleaned with my Gran - now more than a half-century ago - and it's not let me down yet!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
