ONE OF THE BEST HEADPHONE SETS THERE IS AT ANY PRICE!
I have gone through a lot of headphones. Like many of those these are not the best at everything but what they are good for is giving you a fairly good representation of a mix. Nothing is overly colored and the soundstage is wonderful. Below the $1500 range these are difficult to beat. I find myself using different sets of headphones for different things. For my computer I like the Sony MDR 7506's. For tracking I like the ATH m40's or MX50's but for checking a mix and getting it close to what my studio monitors will give me these are what I use hands down.
