Was pleased initially, good appearance, screen good size and clear. However it is soo slow: response times vary between mildly irritating to absolutely hopeless. Great performance to start with, but now down to a snails pace.
In first class condition, and a good price but why, oh why, is does have android 5 installed. Every one knows its a killer for the performance of a Nexus 7 2012. Yes, initial performance was fine but then within a few days it started grinding to a snails pace. So now I will have to look out how to downgrade it to Android 4.4. My first tablet
I am very pleased with this Nexus 7 tablet. It is my introduction to the world of tablets and will certainly be using this for a while. It was very easy to use after viewing Youtube for help. Would have been helpful if the tablet had been cleared of previous owners pics and details. Nice little bit of kit, sturdy and worth every penny...read advice below!
This thing worked wonderfully at first and then started to run slower and developed some major lag/freezing issue...what was the problem?...updating the apps! So this lovely little thing will do pretty much everything you need from a tablet of this age and strength, emailing, facebook, twitter, youtube, email...etc. Just NEVER click 'Okay' when it suggests you update your apps or you'll slow down to a crawl. I foolishly clicked 'update all' (some 27 apps) and BOOM! It was like wading through tar, it kept freezing up and I eventually had to do a factory reset. I didn't put the app icons on my landing screen this time around and I just fire up the search engine, then go through book marks to get to my Facebook and so on.
