QED's uPlay Stream introduces, at a very reasonable price level, the next logical step up from Bluetooth for streaming audio. The excellent DAC which has been incorporated is much better than older legacy techs like Bluetooth at handling music.

Great little device
This streamer was strongly recommended upon release in 2014. At £30 it is a Steal provided that you can live with the three main restrictions: 1. No Bluetooth support, so really needs a nas drive as a music source. 2. The IOS app is 32bit and thus will not run on IOS 11. 3. No digital output. None of these are an issue for me, mainly as I use an iPod touch gen 4 for my music and have a separate DAC for other sources. The sound quality is very good for the rrp of £150, absolutely amazing for £30. Get one while you can, they won’t be around for long.

QED super stream, great unit
Bought the QED uplay streamer as a cheap replacement when my logitech squeezebox failed. Simple to set up and amazed at the sound quality streaming flac rips from my AVA ripnplay via ethernet to my sound system 3 floors away. Easy to control too via the android apps that I have installed on 2 phones and a tablet. Recommended...!
