Replacing my 40 yr old Black & Decker 4 speed
Old faithful finally gave up on me, 40yrs, 14 homes and 3 circumnavigations working. I spent 30 quid in 1980 and spent about the same on the new one in 2020. I am very happy with what arrived, it does everything and more that I wanted. Will it last another 40 yrs ? Probably not but neither will I ! I use it mounted in a bench clamp on a base board mostly for wire brush and polishing. The variable speed trigger is superb, I will make a fine adjustment clamp for the trigger so I can use the full range easily whilst sanding and polishing. I’m also thinking of reversing my mount and making a small wood turning lathe. Options are endless. Great piece of kit. 👍😎
