Socket to em !
This product does the job fairly efficiently. It is quite large & appears old fashioned to look at. The male plug is easy to handle & locates in the female socket quite well. In use , the socket does not feel warm or hot indicative of good current flow path. Reasonably robust plastic type material construction. Basic socket
An old and simple design which basically works, but could be improved. It has the advantage of being surface mounted, which means the plug does not stick out, and the negative connection can simply be the screw into the chassis, however internally the contacts are flimsy and not very secure with low current rating of 10A. If used with other dual format plugs other than supplied, the negative may not connect as the internal contact is not 360 degrees, and is a loose fit. Its still difficult to find a reasonably priced alternative, tight 12V socket. Perhaps somebody should make one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Handy little power connector

Poor quality
