Superb
I remember when this was first released on radio 4 it was great then and still is the best radio drama adaption of the books I have heard. I know there is an American version which is similar but not as good. This is the British version and is the best. All the CDs are great too listen to, especially on long journeys. It is strange hearing a young Ian Holm playing Frodo, then seeing him play Bilbo in the film version. Michael Horden is Gandalf and is great. I also think Peter Woodthorpe as Golum is still the best.
