Malacetic wipes, also Malacetic shampoo
The shampoo irritated my dog's skin. As I was applying it, I could feel my own hands stinging slightly. I'm also not a fan of the smell, it's supposed to be cherry but it isn't, it's heavy on the strong vinegar odour. It lathered really well, you don't need much so it's reasonably good value for money so long as it is suitable for your dog's particular skin type. I wouldn't use it again on my dog who has allergen reactive skin.
With regards to the wipes, I found those to be kinder to my dog's skin for some reason. The wipes are disappointingly small, so for a large breed dog you will need two or more and that's going to deplete the container quickly and prove costly; these wipes are already expensive. I use them occasionally on my dog's feet, but I've personally found that Hibiscrub cleanser at a ratio of 1/40 water stored in a glass lidded jar with application all over via a flannel, works much better all round (avoiding the eyes; an absolute must). Likewise with both the Malacetic products, THEY MUST NOT BE USED NEAR THE EYES.
So, it was an expensive experiment, no regrets, but I won't personally be buying them again for my dog.
