Enamel dishes,a forgotten gem. Check this out. You could make a pie in the dish say. Make it. cook it, freeze it, thaw it, heat it, eat it, dishwash it and do it again a thousand times and still pass it on to your children. No poisonous plastic to worry about and no pollution. Regardless of shape and size.. the enamel steel dish transmits heat almost without delay (glass and earthenware do not) ensuring EVEN cooking and pefect pastry. No more soggy bottoms and burned tops. And... it cleans without scrubbing - even burned on butter, gravy etc just wipes of in hot water with a touch of washing up liquid... or just pop it in the machine.
