Good design features
I'm really pleased with this choice of bag. The second-hand price justified the purchase. Fold-out side panniers are held behind semi-rigid side covers. Its this part of the design that works for me as my last bags were trashed due to the zips being folded repeatedly until they failed. The zip manufacturer chosen for the Topeak MTX is a superior design. The dovetail slide mount the rack also is a good feature allowing for quick release. No need to leave the bike parked with valuables on board. I use a protection cover over it in wet weather and this has not let me down so far.

Excellent quality and unique fitting - at a price
Unique idea for holding the rear bag. Quality really good but it is expensive - you get what you pay for this time. The central bag capacity is not great but does store essential items. If more capacity is required there is plenty of room in the fold down panniers though. Very easy to clip on / off the rack - just be aware it would be easy to steal too!

Good item.
The bag is sturdy and with slight adjustment to the rear by the bottle section fits a second battery (Hailong 52v) to my bike for extra long trips. I put a extra safty cord to secure as has a battery but all good. There are also the side compartments. Did a 40 mile ride on road, off road, beach and good.
