Well made and exactly what I needed.
I live alone and do not need a big multilayer steamer and before purchasing this I used the basket out of a pressure cooker on top of my saucepan to do the same job. But the pressure cooker basket which was aluminium was wearing out fast so I needed to find an alternative. The universal steamer fits the bill perfectly and being stainless steel it is made to last for a considerably long time. It fits just right on my existing saucepan and having its own dedicated lid has made things easier for me too. The only word of caution to anyone that buys this product is the handle on the lid. Use a cloth or oven glove when the steamer is in use as the heat from the steam does conduct to the lid handle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
