Great band, great songs, poorly recorded.
GVF’s new album is highly compressed meaning it does not have the dynamic range of a good vinyl album. The band are very ‘punchy’ sounding in concert, but the way the sound has been processed, this just does not come through. I have also had to return two copies , and am putting up with the final one, as they have all got tiny faults in the vinyl, like craters, caused by air bubbles inside the vinyl as it cools. The band’s management need to get futire recordings pressed elsewhere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
