A Feel Good light hearted engaging romp well suite for family viewing.
Animation was superb and actors were all well suited to their roles. Kept faith with Potter's character descriptions in her novel but fleshed out the story which was mostly very entertaining. A shame Sam Neil got killed off so early in the script. Why couldn't he have been made a paraplegic by his stroke / Then he could have managed the proceedings from his wheel chair on the front porch instead of dying in the first 5 minutes. Some may Enjoy, I Did Not.
I don't consider this to be a "Good" Kids movie. Peter comes across as a rather unsympathetic character who as an adult i found somewhat hard to like. Only My Opinion, but he comes across as a "Smart*ass" I'm quite sure the Author never meant him to be Portrayed in this manner. Why do we have to "Modernise" Tales that have already stood the Test of Time? There are Far Better Kids / Adults Movies about, Goodbye Christopher Robin & Paddington 1& 2 as examples.
