Great fun.
After the rather grim story of Rogue One, this is a lot lighter. It is largely an attempt to justify George Lucas howler in "A New Hope" that Han Solo did the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs. It isn't at all convincing but it is a good try. As with all prequels there isn't much tension as we know that the main characters all survive but just sit back and enjoy the show.

Fantastic Star Wars action! Fast paced and full of weird aliens!
For a Star Wars fan this is music to the ears. Thoroughly engaging plot with action and humour that don't disappoint. Alden Ehrenreich is convincing as a young Han Solo. Ron Howard directs one of the best Star Wars films to hit the screen. I hope there's a sequel in the making.
