Honda Mower with discharge knob
This mower is phenomenal. Way beyond my expectations. Being able to switch from bag to mulch on the fly is amazing. You can keep grass out of manicured beds. The power is smooth and consistent. No clumps

Heavy duty longetivity
This is not a light mower that requires replacing every few years. My last self propelled Honda, a 'one pull start' Honda, functioned flawlessly for over 15 years and then sold for almost $300 on Craig's List. This one is even heavier and more powerful, while being quieter. My new model has the variable speed transmission that can crawl through deep grass easily, while remaining in control around flowers and trees. Mine also has the advantage of leaving the motor running while emptying the bag. The new bag system with adjustable mulch diverter, fills all of the way. One problem due to inattentive assy at US factory, left the circlip fall loose in right wheel drive gear within minutes of first use. The little 1/2 moon woodruff ratchet pawl fell out. I replaced both items with parts from Tru-Value Hardware bins, after local Honda dealer said parts must be ordered..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cant beat a Honda.
Have had Honda mowers since they came out in the 80's Just remember to keep airfilter clean. They tend to foul plugs if you run them dirty. New mowers need oil change after the first 5 hours of use.
