Yukiteru Amano (voice of Misuzu Togashi) is a high school student who mostly keeps to himself. In fact, the only people he really talks to aren't people at all. He keeps his constant diary while talking to Deus Ex Machina (Norio Wakamoto), the god of space and time, and his servant Murmur (Manami Honda).
