Great piece of kit
I wasn't expecting much for the price but was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the trimmer, I have never trimmed my dog myself so was a bit nervous but after watching the dvd for tips I found the trimmer very easy to use and the scissors included in the kit finished the job off very nicely, I now have a very cute terrier instead of a very scruffy terrier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nicely balanced clipper and not over noisey
I find the best way to groom our family Shih Tzu is firstly to give the hair a good wash: dry and brush through. Then using the scissors and a comb get the longer parts cut. Finally using the Wahl hair clipper I trim always in line with the hair growth. The hair needs cutting regularly and the saving last year when I started this procedure is well in excess of £150. The best part about this however, is our little dog is not handled by anyone else, and it is less stressful for her.
