The Samsung 20R is a very close relative of the more popular Samsung 25R. In this experiment, the battery's internal structure was slightly altered to favor maximum discharge current, as the 20R is rated at 22A. In the meantime, the 25R is rated at 20A. As usual, the trade-off between higher discharge, and lower capacity has occurred and the 20R is limited to only 2000mAh. As most discover, 2 amps is not worth giving up 500mAh and the 20R has lost support to the more favored Samsung 18650 25R. Best Battery Tech
This a GREAT Battery! It works with Dewalt Chain Saws, Drills, Drill Drivers, Circle Saws, Drill Hammers... Everything! You need 2 of each batteries and only one of each of the amazing Dewalt Tools. Use one and re-charge the other, so that you will always have an operational Dewalt tool. I own them all and the batteries work and keep me working. Love these batteries (bought two!) !! 5 *****stars!!
This battery is substantial!! I am excited to have it. Now the only problem I have is the drill, with the battery attached, will not fit in the Dewalt case for the drill! I really like the red cover for the battery contacts the slides right on the way a battery does! Great idea and gives me a bit more peace of mind when transporting the battery on road trips with my drill. I visit my sister in another state a couple of times a year to do various maintenance jobs around her house since she has some vision issues. This a a great battery for a great line of Dewalt tools. It lasts a very long time on my Flexvolt circular saw. High Power Low price
Used this battery several times with no problems. Must use this high powered battery for Dewalt 20v angle grinder and Sawzall saw because smaller battery will not last any time before discharge.
