Good Concept, But Failing Performance
The broom itself is fine and sweeps well. However, the user must lay the broom practically flat on the floor to trigger the vacuum to work. And when the vacuum does work, it barely picks up anything. This is not good for an old person who can barely bend over. It's easier and more efficient to use a standard broom with a long-handled dustpan. Great concept but poor design. A Big Disappointment
I found this product weighed far too much to allow sweeping with ease. As to the vacuum part of the apparatus, to get it to pick up the swept debris it had to be pressed down at just the precise angle and with enough force to cause it to activate. Total dud
