Only time will tell
Does exactly what it said on the tin . I used it to protect myself from a dangerous metal not listed. LEAD. An oily metal to which most primers won't adhere. The brush i used was a soft artist's brush and it could be washed in water I need to touch this metal in use and finished off with a water based acrylic.

I bought this as a primer and undercoat for painting external stainless steel. After roughing up the steel the primer dried quickly, adhered well and clearly showed any areas which needed "re-roughing". The topcoat adhered very well to the Hammerite and the finished article has stood up well to severe wind and rain.
