This one is slightly better than the last, in as much that the way the shroud /bracket is shaped to locate and magnetically grab onto the bar of soap The last one endured 20 years of at least four times daily use and then the secreted bracket gave up the ghost. Just what I wanted
I have had a magnetic soap holder for a good many years but it rinally gave up the ghost. This new one is plastic instead od a sivery metal but does the job just fine. Have two ourselves bought one for my mother. Ideal for avoiding soggy soap. There is not much to it. It’s just plastic and two bits of metal. The plastic is quite thin but any thicker and it would add two much weight. Works very well
This is a neat product which looks OK with white wash basin. I didn't want to drill into wall tiles so I fixed it with high-strength permanent sticky pads which seem to be fine. It is so much better for the soap to be able to dry out between use; it lasts much longer and these is no slimy mess as you get using a soap dish or the edge of the basin.
