Not suitable for people with dexterity issues
I purchased this item for my mum as sge is 80 and struggles to bend to get her socks on. The item comes with little to no instructions. Theres a long handle no idea what thats for! You pull the sock onto the large u shape plastic and push your toes to the end but you still have to learn forward to remove the sock off the device as it doesnt come off, there is foam on the bottom supposably to prevent it from slipping on the floor but this doesnt work it still slides away and if you hook the long handle onto the back its difficult to hold when you have body movement issues. I bought this to help putting on compression socks but the instructions are so poor that it is hard to work out how the thing works. It’s not sturdy enough for the job.
Since contracting covid and being in an induced coma for seven weeks I lost all my mobility and couldn’t even put my own socks on. I purchased this to help me get some independence back but unfortunately it’s not very sturdy and moves around a lot when trying to use it.
