May not be what you are hoping for
Not unpleasant to eat, but much less firm in texture, though chilled to the same temperature, than other duck pate de foie gras de canard that I have had. The label - copy uploaded - suggested to me that it may have been made by adding duck fat to the pate when making the pate instead of using only fully fattened ducks' livers, since the ingredients are stated to include 40% duck liver and 40% duck fat. If you are using foie gras, do you need to add duck fat to make the pate? Less costly than other pate de foie gras de canard on offer, and not unpleasant to eat, but not as I expected or wanted. I think not good quality compared to other pate de foie gras de canard that I have had, but ok to eat, though I would hope to be able to purchase something like it for less having regard to its quality.

Disappointed with texture and after-taste
Disappointed in flavour. Should have focused on the mousse aspect when ordering. Little resemblance to pure foie gras but it is not sold as such in fairness. The texture was rather odd perhaps a little slimy and left an odd after taste.that was displeasing. A kind of 'tainted' aftertaste is the best way of describing it.
