Save money on fuel bills
Used this type product for years, excellent for 9" solid elevations. Paper hanging skills are useful, but applying this requires a different technique which you'll learn as you make more and more mistakes. You must use Solvite ready mixed paste applied to the wall and the insulation is easy to hang. Use a good strong mix for the finish paper direct to this insulation. Brittle
I ordered this at the last minute as I had ran out of the product I was using and my store was not stocking it anymore. But I didn’t realise when I had received it it was thicker than the previous one I had used, this was just as easy to put up but I found it would break very easily, there is no flexibility in it at all ( if you wanted to bend round corners) as the thinner one I was using earlier which can bend to some degree. All in all a good product would recommend but corners could be an issue, but then again this is just my advice and I’m no expert.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Damp or condensation?
I had a perpetual wet/damp patch on a wall in my home. I tried everything to cure it but to no avail. The damp seemed to be on the paint surface, vinyl doesn't allow the wall to breath, so I tried this product. Once it was applied it increased the surface temperature, and stopped the damp patch caused by condensation. Only con is that when I applied a lining paper on top for a smoother finish, it peeled the Polystyrene off! Lesson is paint this product directly and it's fine. Warm walls!
Bought this to line a cold wall. It was easy to put up as you can paste the wall. It is a little thin, therefore split a little bit, but overall has been worth it. Product is simple to use but needs careful handling as it is quite delicate and tears easily. The adhesive is first class. Does the job!
Looks fine on the wall, and it gives an instant warmer feel to the room, will need paper lining paper on top before decorating. To early to tell if it will work but combined with a wallpaper paste which includes an anti fungal agent should keep mould from reappearing in the future. one tip when applying take any rings off your hand when applying the product as if you use the back of your hand to smooth it down a wedding ring could catch on the polystyrene and tear it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brittle
I found this product difficult to use. It is brittle to handle and can crack when flattening on the wall. Luckily my wallpaper is quite thick so should hide any inperfections. However the he wall feels much warmer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
