BEST REEL EVER!!
This is the best reel out there, period. Has a wide sweep power handle and can easily outcast the antares dc without any effort. Solid Reel, But not for me.
I really wanted to like this reel. I have been a long time Shimano Reel faithful but wanted to try something different, as I heard this Daiwa Inshore Coastal would be an excellent choice, and even was recommended here by one of the better fishing guides.Well, I was disappointed. After cast, after cast it was just okay. I think the TWS system might just be a gimmick.It cast okay, but their is no comparison between this reel and the Shimano Chronarch I have. I will say it is a very nice looking reel, solidly built, and very light weight but it just isn't for me so I will be returning, and buying the newest Chronarch. Bought new, used it for 2 months very carefully & started squealing. Parts were bad and sent it back for warranty and was denied. Very poor company!!!
This is one nice and definitely dependable Baitcaster that really holds up in saltwater. I’ve tried other brands that looks really good when new, but it cannot withstand the corrosion from the saltwater in just 2 weeks and started squealing.
