Might work...for some mice?
I think the mice have a sixth sense that this will harm them. I mixed it first with biscuit and then with peanut butter, making sure I stayed away from it so my human odour didn't contaminate it. The mice picked out the biscuit on the first occasion, and totally ignored it when mixed with peanut butter.
