Great Smart Thermostat
This is a great smart themostat. I have had it for a few weeks and so far so good. Ran into an issue with the installation as I did not have a common wire connected. But after a call to tech support we were able to find one, get it wired correctly and up and running in no time ( I did not have to use the converter ). The app and GUI maybe a bit dated, but it works very well. It was easy to setup to the WiFi, does a good job and keeping the house cool ( which when you live in South Florida is a good thing ). I put the small mini temp sensor in the master bed room to help ensure a good night sleep. Alex on it is preatty neat as my thermosat is near the front door. Since my house is semi smart ( not everything is connected but getting close ), I can tell Alex to gaurd the house, turn off lights and reset the termostat on the way out. I am very happy with it. A few things I wish it would do better at... The mounting bracket does not fit a single gang swich box which is what my old thermostat controlled used. Also while you can steam music on it via Amazon Alex, it will not regester as part of a speaker group. But those are minor!

Vewry easy installation and set up
Easy installation and easy set up...able to link with Alexa for remote and local monitoring and control so it is very easy to use. From retro to modern
I had a old Honeywell thermostat for awhile now, and decided to update it once the screen started acting up. I did some research and found ecobee to be the best for quality and price. So I bought and installed it (with some professional help of course) and so far I’m pretty impressed. One of the best thermostats out there for the price!
This is a great thermostat complete with Alexia. It's the Ecobee5. It has all kinds of features I love for example I can run my fan w/o ac or heat for as many minutes per hour as I want; has a sensor in another room so I can get different temps where I'll be as in the bedroom at night when I want it cooler. It doesn't have 5 different settings per day like some do but that's ok you can do the same with sensors in different rooms. Cons: Small screen and hard to see and enter commands, should be a lot bigger, What saves it is the app on the phone that is the screen size on your phone which is great. Doesn't have color screens which I would like but black and white will do I guess. Tech support is very good too. I've installed three of these and always have to call tech support due to some glitch so plan on spending an hour on the phone which isn't too bad. I've spent about three hours on different issues but always got help and they were solved. Had a Honeywell before and I liked the larger screen, color and voice command but this unit is slightly better and has more features that make it highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best Smart Thermostat
I have tried 3 different brands of smart thermostats before buying this one. I had it long time ago, but since moving to a new house I hadn't had the chance to install one again. The best feature of this product compared to all other thermostats is the Smart Sensor. ecobee Smart Thermostat is a Winner
All of the advertised features I have tried so far work exactly as expected! The included Power Extender Kit (PEK) eliminated the need for a fifth "Common" wire to power the thermostat.. Excellent, detailed, and easy-to-follow installation instructions, especially for the PEK. Relying solely on the remote temperature/occupancy sensor is a plus for overnight. While direct voice control is only by built-in Alexa, can also use Google Assistant as I do for the other home automation devices I have.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
