  • Genie in a small lamp.

Not EASY to use at first - because it can do so much. You need to try the many many settings. Once you find YOUR best - then easy. The optional little tripod is actually a big item too. It has control buttons for human sized hands. Crazy excellent for such a little thing.

  • Unique camera for unique shots

Tiny size, durable, waterproof, 4K resolution all good. No continuous auto focus but everything past 3 feet can be in focus. Poor in low light due to f4 fixed aperture, but add a small light and minijack mic via a cage like UUrig, Can also add Ulanzi 52mm wide lens converter via 30mm-to 52mm step-up ring added to the cage. Flip up tiny screen good for vlogging, Battery life is short, but add a Ulanzi battery grip handle for longer use. Complex Sony menu and tiny buttons take getting used to. Good for small gimbal or Catalyst stabilizer software. No HLG or Slog3. its 4.2.0 8bit 1-inch sensor good enough for standard movie settings and B-cam color matching for many other modern Sony cameras. Uses 1 micro SDXC card.

  • Outstanding tough camera, but not for beginners

This isn't a camera for beginners, but if you know what you want it to do and are willing to spend the time to set it up properly it's the best tough camera being made now. When used within its capabilities the still image quality is as good as the Sony RX series and far better than GoPro or DJI. I find the lack of fisheye distortion in the video refreshing and much more natural than action cam footage. If you're an experienced user who needs a tough, waterproof camera that's all about being fast and inconspicuous this is the ticket.
