  • Very Satisfied with the Power

I had ordered one of these from Amazon and was dispointed because it had very little power. After returning it, I used a friend's and it worked great, so I decided to try buying another from eBay. Wow, big difference. It works great, so the first one must have had a problem. I pulled a differential axle assembly from my Durango in 20 minutes. It's so compact compared to my air impact wrench and has spun off everythng that I have tried using it with, including axle nuts and crankshaft bolts. I have a Dewalt cordless XR drill, so I already had two batteries to use with it. I would definitiely recommend this imapct.

  • I was disappointed at first, but now I never need a breaker bar.

I was disappointed at first that this was not able to instantly remove corroded lug nuts, but after some penetrating oil and hammering in the axial direction, this impact wrench became well worth the money. There are more powerful impact wrenches from other brands out there like Milwaukee and Makita, but I still chose this to complement my existing lineup of Dewalt tools. Now that I have torque that has more consistent rotational direction, I say goodbye to breaker bars. DCF899 recommended!

  • dewali is de bomb da dita!

my air impact was not able to break suspension nuts and bolts loose. it was only rated at 350 lb. my dealt took them right off. took a little bit, but it got the job done. the 5 amp battery worked great too. still showed 3 bars after working on all 4 corners of car. if you are needing a tool for professional full time use, i might look at the hog ring 3/4 in version. for the homeowner though, the 1/2 is perfect.

  • From a realtime buyer of the DCB899

Absolutely the best tool purchase I've ever made, hands down !!! I've used it a total of 3 times, in the 1st week, and it has saved me several hours of messing around with power bars and trying to figure out what else I have laying around that I can use for leverage, for removing over tightened, broke and stripped bolts. Also noted that the higher powered batteries, (4ah and up), is recommended to get full effectiveness of the real power.

  • Heavy duty

So sweet, big and powerful, as soon as it arrived, I slapped a battery on it and went outside and started taking off and then putting back on lug nuts, just had to try it out. Brand new, says made in USA and still sealed in a bag that was in a factory box.

  • Must have for most vehicles tire change.

Seems to work well wouldn't buy anything with less power I personally believe it would be a waste of money if you did. I use it for home and work for at least changing tires on vehicles. I don't know if it would work or not on heavy equipment. These torch at a higher rating that I haven't used.

  • Unbelievable muscle!

I didn't think a battery powered impact would be as strong or stronger than my air impact and I was 100% WRONG. About a month ago I started changing brake pads on my truck. It was suppose to be a quick 1 hour job. I took the first tire off using my air impact and quickly moved to the opposite side of the truck and removed 4 of the 5 lugs ease. The fifth log would move but only a little. I then tried the trusted 4 way lug wrench and I could not get it to turn or brake . I then took the truck to the tire company that normally rotates my tires because they are the ones that put the lugs on. They made several attempts and then stated they could not remove the lug. I then went on with my life but I was planning on buying a corded impact with 800 ft ld. I own a ton of dewalt cordless equipment but I didn't think the cordless impact would do the job. Well I finally found an XR below 200. and made the purchase. My thought before I used it was lets see it I wasted 200 dollars. The first 4 lugs 2 seconds each, the problem lug stud broke in lest than 10 seconds. My mouth dropped. I was simply amazed. I did not expect the stud to brake without effort. One job made it the best impact I have ever used and owned.

  • Powerful and reasonable

Great tool, I store it in my car, in case someone else besides me has a flat, etc. Busts loose rusted on lug nuts with ease. Reasonably priced. The only possible con is the weight, but it is lighter than the Harbor Freight XT that compares, and is of better build quality, for less. I had several Dewalt batteries anyway, so it was an easy choice.

  • Chinese impact

It's about you but you would expect. I'm a retired mechanic I'm used to using Snap-on tools and of course it does not compare to those. But it is not supposed to for the price I paid $110 for it. But it came with two batteries. It's about three hundred foot pounds of torque. It's good for what I do around the house. And yes I would recommend it.

  • Good torque, easy on the wrist.

I wish I’d have had this tool years ago. I ordered it when I was trying to take off my Zero Turn deck blades. I had a big breaker bar and was jumping on it trying to get the bolts loose and couldn’t do it. I got this tool in and it zipped them off without even putting a strain on it. Very little stress came through the tool to my hand and wrist. I was amazed. This is my new best friend.
