Sometimes you get more than you pay for. Value.
I just put together a networked home sound (and maybe TV later) system. It's very cool. Apple Express routers provide beautiful, lossless sound at each amplifier because the Express have a 3.5mm stereo jack built right it. I needed an amp for each zone that I could control with WiFi. Those are really big and expensive. The Audiosource is small, only $100 and TURNS OFF AND ON WHEN IT SENSES AN INPUT SIGNAL. How cool is that? No fancy WiFi amps, just the Express router and the Audiosource. Could life really be that simple?
Much to my delight, the amps work just as advertised. And the sound...wow. Warm and smooth from Jazz to Rock. A buddy is a musician and sound guru and came by to listen to some $50 Yamaha wired speakers (the outdoor type) and it blew him away.
I'm guessing the Audiosource is 50 RMS watts per channel, the real deal.
Don't know how they can do it for $100. Happy they did.
I bought 4 of these in total since I have 4 sets of speakers around the house and pool.
