We have four of these spread throughout the house. Easy to use, very good sound and very well made. Work reliably with both Apple and Android phones.
The Sonos One's are not waterproof. This one was to replace one that got watered with a plant and unfortunately did not survive. The plant is thriving :-)
Sonos's latest download made my Sub and one of my Play 1 surrounds redundant. I bought this One (Gen 2) to replace my failed Play 1 and, when it arrived, found that Play 1 and 1 Gen2. are different speakers and will not "pair" as surrounds! Had to search eBay for another One(gen2) to make a pair. Expensive speakers, but make for a wonderful sound.
These speakers are not cheap but the sound quality is brilliant, and setup was very quick and easy with the Sonos app. I got 2 to use as surround sound with a soundbar I already had for my living room TV and it was all ready to go within a couple of mins of plugging them in thanks to the wireless syncing between the sonos devices.
I've had many speakers and these have been the best so far. Such great sound and easy to set up using the Sonos app on my mobile. Will be adding to my collection and link then up around the house at home
Already have one and bought new one for outside shed/bar area. Love the product and sound quality, but set up was an absolute nightmare, due to existing Sonos. Literally took days to figure out.
As a speaker it has no issues and has great sound
