Nice fine tip, just what I wanted.

These are ideal for plant labels and such where you might need to write long intricate plant names on plastic, which was what I got them for. They write easily, even on very smooth plastic and stay there, they don't fade or bubble on the plastic straight after you write with them. You don't need to go over them twice or anything either, one time is enough. The ink is waterproof once dry, so it's ideal for plant labels where they get wet afterwards. As with all these kind of pens, you can wipe the ink off any labels at a later date with nail varnish remover or something and then use them again.

  • Most critical review

Sadly, not up to the job.

Sadly, the quality of materials used for the nibs is poor and they split quite easily, even when using the pens lightly – but writing with these pens rather than sketching quickly renders them useless. The barrels on these pens seem too thin to be comfortable and could be a reason the nibs break easily but all in all 'cheap is dear' as they say.

  • Excellent Quality & Long-Lasting: Extra-Fine-Tip Permanent Markers

I last bought this pack of 10 extra-fine-tip permanent marker pens, in June 2021. I just made my second purchase, this April 2024. In all that time, the listing price has only gone up by 28 pence. They STILL represent great value for money. I've not had a single faulty pen (I always test each one), they are light as a feather, so they are easy-going on the hand & they last an absolute age. The colour is, and dries to, a solid black - it doesn't have that green or purple tinge, or cast to it, in certain light. They are not drawing extra-fine lines if you are writing on a more porous surface, like paper, because of course, it will bleed. But, on a CD, or glass for example, they are extra-fine lines. I can only recommend & praise the excellent quality of these pens & the integrity of the seller, in not jacking up the price by a quid or more in the last 2 years & 10 months! I will continue to buy them, for as long as the quality remains the same & the price increase over time is this reasonable. Thank you, so much, I am most grateful :0)

  • Excellent pens, highly recommended.

Excellent pens, highly recommended. These pens have a good flow of ink to make a dense line while writing and drawing. I also use them for marking up of small brass name plates to electro-etch. But do be aware - they are permanent, this is good for naming clothing and the like but I once left one on a tablecloth which became creased and contacted the pen tip and caused a stain!

  • These are perfect for what I need. I al...

These are perfect for what I need. I also use them for the iris's on my 3d models.....It's a lot simpler than trying to use a fine paint brush. And because the ink doesn't bleed or smudge, I've used them for certain outlines on the models too, brilliant, very pleased :-)

  • Quality and cheap

I bought these fine tip for a specific job but were not quite fine enough although ideal for another job in hand. Afterwards I bought the extra fine which fit the bill perfectly. The pens are great quality and surprisingly cheap compared with other named brands. I am delighted with my purchases so when I am in need of more I know where to shop.

  • great penns very precise line marking great for stainless steel

great for what we need marking stainless steel, very precise, the ink doesn't last too long but that may well be down to the steel and dust in the workshop. The price point and and quality out waysany cons and they are the go to pen for our the tech's in the work shop

  • They do exactly what it says on the box. Marks CD/DVD fine and black

Good markers ... great for DVDs with fine lines, solid black inks. You can write up any info you need on the disk without looking as if you were writing with a Flip Chart Marker. Good product, great price

  • Excellent pens for garden labels

Permanent ink fine-tip pens are quite hard to come by and are expensive, so these are an excellent buy for garden labels. At the end of the season, remove the marking with nail varnish remover and reuse the label.

  • Very good pens

Very good pens, very good value, as good quality as fine line pens costing 20 x as much. The nib is strong, very small, writes a very even ink flow and the ink sticks to metal very well
