    Must have but expensive

I use both the trackpad and a mouse as it speeds up workflow. The trackpad is a must have and works very well. Battery life is excellent as is the bluetooth connection with an Apple M1 device. However, it is rather expensive so would advise anyone to check out eBay first before paying the full RRP.

Trackpad did NOT consistently connect over Bluetooth (which is fine; I prefer wired anyway). Included non-OEM cable (a bit irritating; the braided OEM cables are generally less of a hassle than rubberized ones. Lucky I have a spare). Trackpad itself otherwise functions as expected. It's tough to find the larger ones these days, especially in full Space Gray. Thanks!

  • Fantastic and great looking

I love this Mouse/Track pad and have owned the white one before but this one not only just as great to use but it looks stunning as well. I know that Apple's products are more expensive than others but you cannot argue with the quality. They have and still are making the best mouse pads or track pads around and its just a joy to use.

  • Big enough, highly functional, stylish

The tracking area is about double that of a Macbook, making it easier to use at a lower sensitivity and therefore more precise (eg for Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). The trackpad is big enough that you can set a corner as secondary click, something which I haven't done on my Mac because it annoyed me. Completely customisable and the '3D Touch' feature is ergonomically designed; it's not something you can activate accidentally but you don't have to press too hard for it. The batter life seems to be more than sufficient. I would say Apple's suggestion of recharging once per month is about accurate. In terms of design, it looks great, especially in the dark grey. It is essentially featureless and a nice addition to the minimalist set up on my desk.

  • There’s nothing else like it

Like another review said, people who know this product exists were probably already looking for it. The Magic Trackpad 2 is unmatched. There are no other trackpads like it. The gesture control on a Mac and iPad make it superior to a mouse for me, unless you need very specific pointer control. It’s also beautiful, and I’m a fan of force touch letting me click anywhere on the trackpad. Your desk footprint for this is also far smaller than a mouse, but with arguably more control. Is it good value?... Unfortunately Apple are able to charge about double what this should cost, because there are no competitors at this level of quality. That’s probably why you’re looking at it on Ebay, not Apple’s website!

  • WHo asked for review, everyone who wants to buy it, knows it's features, huge Forv

Apple products are apple products, I have always used USB Apple mouse truck pad were small but still comfy, I didn't use Magic Trackpar 1, but this one is beautiful and huge and Trackkypaddy magically nice. I find it difficult to switch from mouse to track pad use them both at the same time. You must get used to it if you used mouse before, but if you use Trackpad, then Magic Track pad 2 is for everybody.

  • It does what it says. Just works really well

Apple products are excellent quality and generally just work out the box. The problem is once you're caught by Apple you are stuck with high prices as well as for almost all of the accessories. There are other manufacturers out there that can other quality and value. But I've been an Apple convert since 2000 and have no regrets.

  • Mouse, I don’t need a mouse!!

Perfect accessory to the Mac and all the other products you can connect it to. So many gestures just make it so simple to complete tasks and switch between one thing or another and it’s very comfortable on the wrist and hand. The battery lasts so long you almost forget it’s an electronic device. I’m not sure why the space grey needs to be more expensive but I like everything to match so I went with it.

  • Better than the original.

Expensive, but worth it. Wider but slimmer than the original, and the battery lasts longer than even the best rechargeables though I’d prefer replaceable rechargeable batteries to extend the product’s life. Overall feels much more ‘all of a piece’ than the last, and the mechanical power switch is miles better than the previous power/pairing button. Pairing is almost confusingly simple — just connect to the Mac with the lightning cable and it’s sorted. Otherwise, it’s pretty much everything that was nice about the previous model: accurate, good ‘click’ feel, and doesn’t scooch around on the desk.

  • Nobody makes trackpads like Apple

Setting up the working from home gear, and got lots of great value items. However, the trackpad is simply something you can’t skimp on: Nobody makes a trackpad like Apple. It’s brilliant and the dark grey matches the MacBook, so even style gets the grade.
