  • Most critical review

Good for very basic functions, but capacitance? Not our first choice. Or second.

On the surface, this looks like a quality Fluke meter. It's very similar to the 87M and other Flukes we've used. However, the meter has no REL button. REL is the "relative value" button that lets the user zero-out the meter, so all reading start at zero. When checking capacitance with this meter, some mental gymnastics are required. The capacitance reading will not go to zero, but instead read somewhere in the range of .09 nF and .11 nF. It will not go to zero. I called Fluke, and the Fluke tech (nice guy) said the flaw in the readout is due to a faulty design, so to use the meter we will have to add the initial meter reading to the expected capacitance value and then see what we get. And, since the initial value changes each time, there's some prep work that has to be done in order to use the meter. This is just basic bad design. A meter should be accurate without doing additional math to get a reading.

  • Excellent for the price

The little DMM is great for the price. I can't claim to know anything about its accuracy, but it's easy to use and ready to go right out of the box. Only one drawback: the manual is written in Chinese. Happily, the English version is available on the web for free download.

  • Rugged, high-quality DMM

Overall, this is a durable, high-quality DMM. The Fluke 15B+ no longer seems to be in production. However, it still has the Fluke quality and build! It has all the functions one would expect in a DMM except for temperature and frequency measurements found in other models in this series. One big PLUS for me is that this DMM uses standard AA batteries instead of the usual 9V. Not a big fan of 9Vs. One MINUS is that this comes with VERY STIFF PVC TL75 test leads. Highly recommend obtaining the VERY FLEXIBLE silicone TL175/TL175E test leads. Also this DMM comes with documentation written in Chinese. Not very important to someone familiar with using DMMs. The English version is always available from Fluke. This is great for someone who doesn't need the latest and greatest meter.

  • Fluke 15B+ Digital Multimeter - Great Product!!

My Fluke 15B+ meter was shipped very quickly and received much sooner than expected. It is a solid, high-quality, hand-held test meter. It works very well and has a multitude of uses. I plan to use mine to do circuit tests on my vintage motorcycle, and to test components.

  • GREAT MULTI METER.

i haven't used all functions yet. At this time I use it mainly for trouble shooting automotive / truck electrical problems. works great with a good display and I like the little pouch that came with it. Good deal for the money. thank you.

  • It is just fine perfect meter for the home electronics experimenter and radio repair talking tube radios and transistor radios.

It is just fine perfect meter for the home electronics experimenter and radio repair talking tube radios and transistor radios. Only thing that bugged me was my meter did not come with the clear plastic bag over the radio. Sounds silly, but it pissed me off but I got over it.

  • All the meter I'll ever need.

I know Fluke is top-of-the-line product so, instead of spending twenty for another HF meter, I got this hoping I won't ever lose it so it's the last one I'll ever need to buy. Work's great.....already has helped me troubleshoot an alternator issue and track down source of broken horn on my truck.

  • I'm all fluked up !!

I have been looking for a super good Multimeter for a year , I've tried other small cheep meters for a while but got the chance to use this meter and it foots the bill super accurate, the probes could use some good silicone probes but good vaule . Glad I decided to get the best.
