An excellent Scalextric starter pack.
Bought for my young grandchildren (and me) to play with when visiting. The cars are appealing to them with one more of a Le Mans style racer and one more like a coupe, so that provided choice for the boys. We had bought and sent back a mini set which was battery operated - flimsy and fiddly. This set is much more robust and can be laid out on a large table or in a different configurations, on the floor. The controllers have a 4 speed limiter on them so at anything other than the top setting it is pretty hard for the car to fly off the track, ideal for younger children. Only criticisms, rear wing on one car broke off in a heavy fly off crash(!) and the other one comes I clipped very easily, but doesn’t break. Controllers WILL get unacceptably hot if two cars are used on the same track, which two young boys WILL attempt to do... Overall, very happy, we will definitely buy more track components over time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality sadly lacking.
Captures most of the magic of Scalextric but sadly quality is lacking compared to older sets. The track doesn't easily clip together correctly, and the cars, controllers and other parts feel cheap and easy to break and are temperamental.
