Very good overall
Excellent but of kit, using all the time cutting unistrut/cable tray, threaded rod etc. The collector box works well but sadly the safety guard cannot be raised slightly by finger trigger so will occasionally the guard will jam against the material your cutting and will not cut any further. The new style cutter
I'm very disappointed with the new style makita cutter, this will be my fourth one now and have never had a problem with the old design. But the new swarf catcher is just not needed. It broke after one day of use, its made the cutter very wide and clumsy and worst of all, you can't retract the blade cover like you could on the last model, making it very dangerous if you need to.
