The Jury's Out
I'm not sure if it works or not. We have a 13 year old male cat (Barry) that bullies my 3 year cat (Harry, also male). When I see conflict, I pick up Barry and apply some product as per the instructions. My Border Collie puppy suffers from car sickness and I have been rather desperately trying to find a solution. Very calming
I have a 4yr old cocker spaniel and a new puppy, the 4yr old cocker spaniel has been stressed beyond belief. Eyes out on stalks freezing like a concreat statue if puppy went anywhere near him, I sprayed this onto my hands and rubbed round his nose, head ears then spayed again on my hands and gave him a rub and massage while he was in a stressed state, it seemed to calm him immediately. Then did the same to the pup, repeated this every time there were stressed situations for about a fortnight, they now get on very well with only minor instances. Not as good as expected
I bought this to use on my rescue pup that had been travelling to the UK from abroad whom I had to get home by train. Firstly the stuff smells awful, like damp towels that have that old smell and not pleasant. I did spray it on her coat but she was still anxious for most of journey home, I ended up using Rescue Remedy spray on my hands and rubbing around her mouth and nose. I don't know if it was the tiredness that made my pup eventually calm down or what.
