The AlphaTrak2 is an easy to use Blood Glucose meter. If your pet is diabetic a glucose meter for the home is essential to help keep them healthy. High or low blood sugar can take your pets life. High blood sugar kills more slowly than low blood sugar. Low sugar can cause your pet to have seizures or it can kill in minutes. Testing is quick and easy to do. I have a diabetic cat and a dog with pancreatic cancer. By monitoring her blood sugar and adjusting her medication our dog has lived over a year longer than the Vet predicted. Made for the meter, and easy to get sample from small amount of blood
We wanted to get the exact item for our alphatrak2, we had tried Freestyle, but due to level of diabetes in our senior car we wanted to be sure the meter was working properly.
