Not a card for newbies.
Listen, this is not a card for newbies to install. It was like going back to the nineties and plug and pray. With this one praying wasn't enough. To cut to the chase, eventually I had to connect with a good ole VGA cable, boot into Safe mode w/ networking, download the latest driver and install. Once I did that I was able to shut down, change out to an HDMI cable and start up. I had to clean out all the Radeon stuff still trying to run things and make sure that the old chipset wasn't trying to run by disabling it in the Device Manager. Other than that it was easy. I like the fact that now the video has 2GB of dedicated memory and the computer has a full 16GB of memory for itself. Not bad for $50.
