Eva-dry Edv-1100 Dehumidifier Review
This Dehumidifier is a Excellent product. I have a camper which, during the winter, had a mold problem caused by excess humidly. I used the Edv-1100 in the camper, and after two days, the water container was over three quarters full. This showed how much water the dehumidifier removed from the air. After a week, the mold stopped being a problem. If you forget to empty the container, the unit just shuts off, causing no overflow problems. I liked the unit so much, I bought another for my Crossfire sports car, which I have under wraps during the winter months. Again, the second unit worked perfectly and removed excess water from the interior. I highly recommend this product. It was way too small for the square foot...
It was way too small for the square footage of the room. It was working nonstop and I had to empty every evening. It does have a shut off feature when the tank is full, and I'd often find it off for that reason. Awesome value, seriously folks.
I did not expect much from a small package. If you have a major humidity problem or you expect fog free mirrors after a steamy shower, then you'll need to pay a bit more. If, you want a small compact little humidifier that's worth your money, this is it. . When I received my package, I guess I expected more. I do not have a major problem with humidity. So, I set it up in my bathroom. Still, I didn't expect any overwhelming results. . This unit will not pull a gallon of moisture out of the air. It works great, a lot better than I thought it would. . Since I do not have a major humidity problem, and it's set up in my bathroom, I didn't think I'd have to empty it out, maybe once a month. Nope, it pulls a container full every 3 to 4 days max. . Works Extremely Well
We use it in the bathroom and has it running almost 24/7. It is on the counter. When we take a shower, normally there is "fog" on the mirrors, even with the exhaust fan running, but with this running, there is no "fog". Not a power cord you'd find easily.
I don't know if it's any good or not. The "power cord missing" is clearly mentioned. BUT, it's not a normal AC power cord like you might have around, or can even find somewhere easily. According to the instructions it needs an ac to 9 volt DC power supply with a plug that looks like the 2 prong ac cord you find on a lot of home electronics, like they used to use on VCR'S et.. Small but mighty dehumidifier
This product does just what it claims. It does a great job of removing moisture from my 25' travel trailer. It doesn't do as fast of a job as a full size dehumidifier with a compressor, but does do the job. It is very quite, and doesn't emit so much hot air as a full size one does. I’ve only been using this for a couple of days so not really sure how effective it will be. When I have it on, the humidity does go down a few points but since I don’t keep it on at night when I’m sleeping, the humidity comes back. It is fairly quiet but I’m a light sleeper. Efficient, quiet and provides peace of mind.
