    Blast from the past

    I've been looking for some vintage speakers, and I remembered how well my uncle's minimus 7s sounded growing up, so I looked to see if I could find some. I bought these and I'm very pleased with how they look and sound. They are in excellent condition, were packaged well, and arrived a day early. These make a great bedroom tv or computer stereo setup with a small amp.

    Excellent type of satellite speaker. I am highly recommending it for low-wattage amplifiers.

    Oh I can't believe how the 4-inch woofer drives the good quality of sound. It is so articulate that the highs are clearly defined and lows are very good and tight.

    Gems! That's about the best...

    This model speaker might be one of the very best ever produced. I ran a vehicle using just one of these as a CB radio speaker and it was awesome. I use SIX of these in various audio labs, as bench test speakers and microphone testers and in all the years since 1979 have only needed to replace the bass drivers once because they turned to cheese. Other than that, these babies are made with die-cast cabinets and can probably be used as vehicle wheel chocks if you get hung up! A definite five-star product.

    good purchase, good sound/value

    The Minimus 18 speakers sound fine with my Realistic receiver. They don't have BOOM BOOM bass sound of course. They are a small shelf speaker but they have the dynamic range to replicate music in a nice flat overall response. I also like their small size as do my neighbors.

    Small size, big sound.

    These are amazing speakers for the size. Extremely sturdy and well built metal cabinets with a frequency response that belies their compact size. I now have three pairs because I truly love the sound. If you are looking for personnel size with a roomier sound try a pair as fronts or rears or just stand alone 2.0. Love them.

    Still One of the Best

    Radio Shack simply got it right many years ago, and these speakers are still in demand and the price keeps going up as there is no more made. Excellent sound in a rugged box. I use mine for amateur radio and they are one of the best. I own four of them.
