Stunning value for money
I saw the review of this on Audiosciencereview and, being in the market for a new DAC, thought I'd take a punt. Initially sceptical of Chinese electronics and all the stereotypes surrounding them, I have been amazed at the sound quality. Clean, clear, and lively sounding with excellent bass; I am very happy. When you factor in the price of ~£135 you just can't beat it. Even better is that the Sofabatton universal remote I use supports Topping products already. So Topping isn't some shonky little company churning out garbage; they clearly have support across the wider industry. The display is a little old-skool with it's LCD amber illuminated blocky numbers, which is reminiscent of and older bedside alarm clock. But otherwise, it's small and unobtrusive. Topping E30 DAC
Was a toss up between the Cambridge Audio Dacmagic or the Topping E30 and I am glad I chose wisely, as it's a brilliant bit of kit still running it in but the sound and detail are superb. I have it connected to Marantz cd player and a ipad via the USB port ( with the camera adapter) the iPad is streaming ultra hd and hd. Can't hear any difference
No noticeable difference, hooked it up to my old Sony into a new 9.2 amp tried all the filters couldn't hear any change even with 16 & 24 bit cd's .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
