Osmocote Pink is great for those special plants.
Osmocote Pink is a more complete fertilizer for those "special" flowering plants you can grow in California now. While liquid fertilizers are always best, this stuff is good enough to re-use soil in 1G containers as many times as you like. Fertilizer Usage
I use this on most of my flowering plants. Just sprinkle in the pot and water. The only downside is after a month or so and after the fertilizer is dissolved and gone, the shell of the fertilizer capsule remains.
