Extremely satisfied with Panasonic home message phone system.
I like this extension line added to the base purchased earlier. The base was pre owned, but in perfect working order. Bit of help from internet handbook used to set up base needed. Adding this extension very easy. Base and extension have small footprint. I am a senior and love the large buttons and sound adjustment buttons. Also enjoy the bright red message notification light. I get few messages, so preferred a home message setup the tells me when I get rare calls to using a phone system that I needed to check daily just to be sure not missing the few weekly messages. Good features, not so good sound quality. KX-TGMA45S is silver, not white.
A KX-TGMA45S has a Silver face plate (the S in the last character of the model number), not white. What I received was a KX-TGMA44W, which is White (the W in the last character of the model number). KX-TGMA44W is not compatible with a KX-TGM450 base, it is compatible with a KX-TGM440 base. What base you have determines which handset you need. Both handsets have some very nice qualities, very readable display with nice navigation, large/easy to read buttons, nice caller id log, call blocking (without the phone ringing), loud ringer, and lights that flash when the line is ringing. However, the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. It has amplified sound with an optional Boost feature. The KX-TGMA45S has more amplification than the KX-TGMA44W. Unfortunately sometimes the amplification distorts the sound too much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good controllable sound pitch and volume level. Speaker phone is loud and clear. Programming is a bit on the semi-complex side. If you are computer literate it is not difficult to use number codes. Perfect for aging ears
