Schuco model OC10925 is of the 1/43 Scale Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport in 'Darkmoon' blue. This diecast collectors model comes in a branded corporate Vauxhall-Opel box and has all the hallmarks of what makes Schuco such an excellent brand of models still. To begin with the model is right hand drive so definitely a Vauxhall Insignia and Schuco has aimed this at the collectors market with the older / adult and discerning collector in mind. This is free wheeling and free of all opening door / boot / bonnet & hood 'bones of contention' as are the rest of their 'official' Vauxhall-Opel corporate model range. GAMA Models has had a bash at producing some of the earlier Vauxhall-Opel models such as the Cavalier and Calibra but these and the opening 'bones of contention' they come with are both problematic and on a par with Cararama models: Many of which in this scale have a disappointing 'toy' like feel to them as a result. I would stipulate a minimum age of 14 years old plus for a youngish collector who wants to add value for money models to their collection with the aim of expanding and becoming more experienced in mind. Otherwise for older collectors this model for the price I got it represents IMHO value for money possibly at it's best ... I have been lucky to secure a number of Vauxhall-Opel 'official' models for decent prices adding to this opinion. So it's a 10 and a strong recommendation from me as far as this is concerned: Don't pass up ... :o)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
