Overall I would recommend
I'm no welding genius so lets get that out of the way,on this unit stick welding excellent,also MIG,cant say alot about the TIG other than it works,absolute noob to TIG welding.I did find that creating a welding arc with TIG was surprisingly easy,thou the welding is not,so alot of practice required. So what I have found wrong,Manual is absolutely useless,case build is quite ordinary ie side door doesnt fit well and one of the tabs broke off when i tried closing door(maybe I can TIG weld that back on :P)The bits that matter seem of good quality. One major issue is that the unit trips my RCD if I have the earth clamp attached to the welder,if I remove the earth clamp and fit it once the welder is running I have no issues,I'm sure this is probably only an issue with the welder I purchased as no one else has commented about it(or I have a dicky RCD).probably should return it,but I'm lazy and cheap so fingers crossed it does'nt become a terminal issue. still with all the issues I mentioned I'll still give it a solid 3.5 but since that wasn't an option i'll give it a tentative 4.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

the machine is light and easy to move around
ive only used the mig with gas but it has good penertraion with plenty of amps left, smooth and clean weld easy to adjust amps and wire speed. its got a good small hand piece and nozzle, you can get into tight areas.havent tried tig or arc yetVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Value for money
For the price this unit dose work quite well smooth weld flow is what I like about this unit, I would recommend that you buy a better welding helmet though, as the one that comes with it will not do, And remember to change the polarity to positive earth when using flux cored wireVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than CIGWELD.
