Inexpensive Way to Eliminate a Problem
We had a large number of silverfish in various rooms in our home right after we moved in. Have put these packets in places where we saw them. Seems to have eliminated most of them. These traps seem to work!
I don't know how these work but we have seen reduced silverfish. We put them in the doorway of the bathroom, by the nightstand, on carpet. We have no idea how the silverfish are appearing (up our sink/tub drain? up the floor vents? dropping from the fan vent in our bathroom)? They've even appeared late at night in our bed which is super gross and the bed is nowhere near the tub or sink and we've replaced our can lights above us with closed can lights. Anyway, after being on edge at night time, we can now relax somewhat as we have not seen them after putting down the traps. The downside is that the traps are not attractive lying on the floor but nobody is upstairs inspecting our bedroom/bathroom. These traps work at a great price. I don't know where they go off to die -- it's not like we see dead silverfish or a swarm of them (unlike ant traps where you feel like you are attracting all the ants to the trap).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Helps control silverfish
I have noticed a huge decrease in silverfish after poking my head up into my attic and throwing these around like ninja stars in every direction. I order 2 boxes of these every spring to repeat the process after I see even 1 silverfish on the ceiling in my living space. I never see another one all season until the next spring when it gets really hot in the attic. I think the spring rain drives them into my dry, hot attic space.
