Battery OK, 4 Year Warranty not so much
MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR INVOICE from batterymegauk. The Hankook Battery is a no maintenance battery sold by batterymegauk with a warranty of 4 years. The battery seems fine though it's impossible to give a proper evaluation after only a couple of weeks. It arrived promptly and needed to be signed for so the handling of the physical product by batterymegauk was good. However the warranty part of the purchase was not. A note with the battery says: - "Please ensure that you keep a copy of the invoice that is emailed to you. This is your warranty and what you will need, should you need to claim on the warranty of the item. Without the invoice or invoice number unfortunately we cannot process any warranties". I DID NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE. I received plenty of other emails BUT NOT THE INVOICE. The Order Number was everywhere but not the invoice or the invoice number and without that, no claim can be made on the warranty. Remember it is a 'No maintenance Battery' so you can't top it up or try to fix it. When it goes, it's gone!! - so the warranty is an integral and crucial part of the purchase. And batterymegauk failed to deliver the invoice/warranty until I asked. Whereupon they were very prompt and courteous and delivered. However most people, I believe, don't follow up on paperwork so this review is to make them aware. When I contacted them, I was told: - "The invoices are normally sent automatically via email and whilst most customers do receive them sometimes there is an issue with the automated system and they need to be sent manually. We are looking into the cause of this. The invoice/order number is requested for warranty, often we are able to bring this information up simply by searching by postcode and name but it is best to keep the invoice as this may not always be possible". "normally sent out automatically" "most customers do receive them" "sometimes ... they need to be sent out manually" - hmm! So, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR INVOICE - and even then, it doesn't show the length of the warranty so you should probably keep a copy of the advertisement or the ebay order confirmation (as that has a picture of the ad showing '4 year warranty' quite clearly). n.b. batterymegauk could have avoided the bad impression I got if: a) the paper with the battery had included the Order Number as a basis for a warranty claim, and/or b) they had included the invoice with the battery, and/or c) shown the invoice number on the many emails I received instead of just the Order Number. batterymegauk should fix the invoice problem. The warranty is crucial, especially on a no maintenance battery. Future reviews will tell. So, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR INVOICE.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value and quality product!
Read some reviews before purchased this product and so far it proved that it is of good quality, very good value for money and does exactly what it described. This is a replacement of the original battery which lasted for ten years (not bad at all)! And the CCA of this replacement battery is higher than the original one!. So far so good and the car starts smoothly. The warranty is for four years and I expect that to be at least the case if not exceeding that!
