Lightweight and easy setup
This is a must if you want to increase your range outdoors. The unit is lighter and smaller than I expected, with easy mounting or just on a tabletop. Tip: place the extender as far away from base, without totally being out of range of base. This way, you can get the most extending of the signal. Also, if you feel you need more range to a certain side of the house, put the extender where you think you can benefit the most. Some reviewers wrote they can increase their range over many acres, but that is not really the case. I purchased this range extender on base of some good reviews and feedback. I tried it and it works somewhat but it does not penetrate walls that much or strong.
