Cheap, sturdy, cool-running. well-built
I have been using this lamp for about a month now. Plants seem to like it, though I have no real means of comparison. I have it next to a 45x3 watt no-name ufo (85 watt draw). And this one is immensely bright, compared to the other. Regarding the color temperature of the full spectrum cobs, I really couldn't find a straight answer. But my own research leads me to believe that they might be 1400 Kelvin. The light is not exactly purple, but there is a visible tint of red. The fans does make a bit of noise, but nothing compared to my exhaust fan. You don't want it in you bedroom though. The build seem sturdy, and the insides look very tidy and properly arranged. My ambient temperature is approx 22 degrees (Celsius), and this lamp only raises the temperature by 2-4 degrees. Nothing serious. I hope someone will make a detailed video-review of this lamp someday, because it was very hard for me to find any reviews before ordering. Very loud lamp
Described to be silent enough not to influence daily life or rest. That is not the reality. My lamp is in my living room and even my bedroom door closed, noise from the lamp is so loud that I have to wear earplugs in order to be able to sleep. Dissapointed
made the plants stretch and was not as good at 'budding' as the mars hydro 300w at almost half the price! To be effective it needs a lens to focus the light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
